luckycard Pasig court OKs Apollo Quiboloy’s Senate appearance on Oct. 23
MANILA, Philippines — Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 159 on Tuesday granted the Senate panel on women’s request for detained televangelist Apollo Quiboloy’s attendance at the chamber’s public hearing on Wednesday, October 23.
“The letter-request to allow the appearance of the accused before the public hearing of the Senate committee on women, children, family relations and gender equality on October 23, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. is hereby granted,” the court order read.
Article continues after this advertisement“The Jail Warden of the Pasig City Jail, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Nagpayong, Brgy. Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, and the Chief of PNP Custodial Center, Camp Crame, Quezon City are hereby directed to bring and escort [the] accused,” it added.

It also directed the warden of Pasig City jail to implement the utmost security measures to ensure the safety of all the accused.
